FIELD SERVICE UTE'S

Our break down team are well equipped to deal with any breakdowns onsite each vehicle is fitted with all safety items and identification for working in busy site environments. The 4wd vehicles can rapidly respond to service calls and our technicians are highly experienced and capable in repairing modern machines and equipment.

FIELD SERVICE TRUCKS

The workhorses at McGrath Mechanical. Each field truck is fully capable of any task and each truck comes with highly experienced technicians. Each truck has a 1 ton per meter crane, 46 cfm air compressor, oxy and acetylene set and all safety items for working on site and around the city, each truck is fully maintained and serviced accordingly. These trucks are in 2wd and 4wd versions which can easily handle the majority of breakdowns and servicing onsite.

LUBE TRUCK

For the major servicing we have our own modern and site compliant lube service truck, custom built for our Sydney business we can evac up to 600lts of waste oil and have onboard all oils and lubes in a self-bunded service body. We can carry out major services on machines such at 70ton excavators and D11 Bulldozers safely, quickly and efficiently. With a 65cfm air compressor, 1 Inch size air hose, bulk grease and water tanks this truck significantly cuts the down time on scheduled servicing. Fully equipped with all site safety requirements such as spill kits, MSDS, UHF radios and amber beacon.

HOSE TRAILER

Exclusive for our fleet customers we offer in an in house mobile hose service, all technicians are qualified in hose assembly. We stock JIC, ORFS, SAE, BSP and CAT XT hose fittings Yokohama hose up to six wire, spiral wrap in all sizes and each hose is cleaned with a blow dart before fitting to the machine.

TRACK PRESSING

Undercarriage repair is a major part of owning and operating plant machinery. McGrath mechanical has track pressing capability in house to split excavator tracks up to 70ton size and carry out major undercarriage repairs.

AIR CONDITIONING

McGrath mechanical is licensed and insured to diagnose and repair R134A systems on mobile plant machinery and on highway trucks.

We service and repair the most current and modern machines and trucks which means we need the latest technology keep up. We have all the Software to diagnose major brands such as Cat, Cummins, Volvo, Allison, Eaton, Isuzu, Hino etc.

With a clean facility to operate from in the Centre of Sydney we can complete OEM components rebuilt to the highest standard, all precautions and contamination control guidelines are followed strictly, and the quality is high.

HEAVY DUTY TOOLING

We have a full range of heavy-duty tooling to maintain and repair the largest of machines, technicians are well trained and competent in its use and we ensure all hydraulic tooling is in safe working condition.
